In Battlefield 2042 there is now also TakeDowns as in Warzone and Apex Legends
The technical test of Battlefield 2042 as part of the EA Playstation program is in full swing. Although the whole takes place only for selected participants and is also strictly secret - yet a lot penetrates to the outside. In addition to detailed gameplay clips that land on the net, we now know that it has made a new feature in the Battlefield series.
Battlefield 2042 also relies on Third Person TakeDowns
Tom Henderson, one of the most famous Battlefield insider, who has reported only yesterday by the anti-cheat measures in the Battlefield test, was now another detail price - TakeDowns with the knife now exist in Third Person :

"Executives with the knife are now presented in Third Person, similar to Warzone and Apex Legends."
TakeDowns Time differently: Although there were already in previous Battlefield offshoots already knife TakeDowns with special animations, but they were always held in the sometimes limited first person perspective.
In Apex Legends, downstream opponents can be done with a finisher, at Warzone it is the Stealth Kills from behind - but there are a small camera trip and a full view of the Martial action. This makes such moments clearly cinematic and that should probably also hold in Battlefield.
Each gleaced gameplay is currently deleted from EA when the publisher becomes aware of it. Really officially visible, we will probably only become the new Takedowns when Battlefield 2042 will be accessible to all players. When that will be, stands in the stars. Until then, there are also examples under Henderson's Post.
But it is not that way, as if there is not an already official game material to see BF 2042:
