Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccon City premieres poster and new glance with comments from the Director
The Strangers: Optic Night (OT: The Strangers: Prey at Night) is an American slasher film by Johannes Roberts. It is the continuation of the 2008 movie The Strangers.
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccon City surprised us a few days ago with his first trailer, which recovers the essence of Capcom s videogames. Now, Sony Pictures launched a more video, where we can appreciate a new glance of this project, including some comments from its director, Johannes Roberts , and the official poster of the tape was also revealed.
It is a horror movie, created with love for the Johannes Roberts games is a very faithful adaptation of Resident Evil video games, said the director. It s a story about origins , where we know all the iconic characters of the games , something we already check with the confirmation of Leon, Claire, Jill and Chris.
According to Roberts, each scene presents details seen in the game. From the Spencer Mansion and the police station, up smaller details, such as the hamburger of the driver that appears at the beginning of Resident Evil 2.
Together with that new glance, Sony Pictures also showed the Poster of the movie for the first time. In it, we see the actors and actresses who will interpret the famous franchise characters: Kaya Scodelario (Claire), Hannah John-Kamen (Jill), Robbie Amell (Chris), Tom Hopper (Wesker) and Avan Jogia (Leon) .
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccon City is full of references, and in the words of his director, it is a horror movie created with love for the games. It will be released exclusively in cinemas, next November 24 in the United States, and December 30 in Spain.
