PS5 resellers are starting to lose money

As hard as it is to believe, the PlayStation 5 has been available for almost a year. However, things could be changing, since new Forbes reports suggests that the secondary market value of the console has fallen significantly lately. Representatives of the Stockx Web Site told Forbes that the average price of the system disc version fell from $ 1000 at Cyber ​​Weekend 2020 to $ 715 this month. That's even more than $ 200 above your MSRP, but it indicates that prices are going down.

Apparently, this lower interest extends to the totally digital version of the console, which can now be obtained for less than $ 700. Forbes also spoke with resellers on eBay, where this fall has also been noticed in the demand of the secondary market. It is not clear exactly why resellers are winning less money with consoles.
