Diablo 4: Quarter s update throws a look at the sound design and behind the scenes

Only recently published Blizzard with Diablo 2: Resurrected a new edition of the second part, while the development of the latest offshoot of the famous Loot games continues. A few days ago one announced that Joe Shely, former senior designer at Diablo 4, now takes over the role as Game Director.

Kris Giampa, Sound Supervisor at Diablo 4, writes to the sound design: For the soundscapes of Diablo IV, we continued the tradition of satisfactory combat sequences, the atmosphere further developed to support the open world, and us in the gloomy and bloody At the end. At the same time we tried to provide a clearer yet expressive sound that dynamically adapts to the game.
